Tutti gli artisti partecipanti alla residenza di Monasterace, con a capo Rose Michelle Taverniti, lavorano con dedizione per la promozione della cultura e dell’arte. Sarà un coinvolgimento creativo in rapporto con l’ambiente e un’esperienza attiva di gruppo che opera con materiali e tecniche diverse, ma accomunate da idee esistenziali e filosofiche. “lo scopo della vita è lo sviluppo di noi stessi, la perfetta realizzazione della nostra natura: e per questo noi esistiamo”. What a feat to get this residency up and running. As amazing as the pictures are, I’m sure the actual place is even more stunning. The work samples of the selected artists suggest that some truly amazing things will come out of the residency and that it will take off. I can’ t wait to spend some time in Monasterace!
The pictures make me swoon. The artist’s representative work makes me want to swoon. What a terrific residency this will be and it will foster many more to come. I look forward to 2013 when I can join you. Best, Marietta Leis
