Call for Artists!

Dear fellow Studio dei Nipoti artists

You are invited to submit images for a juried exhibit.

I am building a proposal to International Arts & Artists in Washington DC. The work will first be reviewed by Rose Michelle Taverniti and myself, Cianne Fragione.

“International Arts & Artists’s Traveling Exhibition Service develops and circulates fine art exhibitions to large and small institutions throughout the U.S. and abroad. The exhibitions cover a broad and dynamic range of art, including works in all media from international and American artists.”

Included in the proposal will be a publication for the exhibit, written by Bruce Nixon.

“Bruce Nixon is author of “The Form in Time: Relief Sculptures by Maneul Neri.” in Manuel Neri: The Figure in Relief,  (Hudson Hills Press, 2006) and “A Wonderland of His Own,” in Frank Lobdell: The Art of Meaning and Making (Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, 2003) and has written monographs on Gustavo Ramos Rivera, Charles Ginnever, Young June Lew and many others. He was editor-in-chief of Artweek from 1990-96. He received his M.F.A. in creative writing from Mills College. Oakland, CA “
