Show and Tell Request

I am working on a new project that involves collecting and compiling video conversations held on Skype where a person is showing me something of importance and explaining what it is and why it is important.  I hope to have hundreds of participants, with the final installation being a series of free-standing flat screens looping these videos, a compiliation as well as a negation of what everyone is saying because many will be playing at once.  A sample of the work so far can be seen at http://www.telephoneheart.com/Media/ShowandTell-Web/ShowandTellWeb.html

The piece is about sharing, reaching out and exhibiting a piece of yourself to the world through the stories of your treasured objects.  This work is cross-cultural, cross-continental, and cross-generational, exploring the importance of connecting with another person even in this digital age.  It is a conceptual representation of what makes us human as well as an exploration of the challenges we face in remaining meaningful communicators in a world that is continually shrinking due to advances in new technology.
