Alex White Mazzarella & Casey Nolan, Artefacting Mumbai

Artefacting Mumbai is a multi-media project using art, photography and video to tell the story of Dharavi, Mumbai: a community and economy in danger of being displaced by contemporary urbanization. Alex White Mazzarella will collaborate with local artists and artisans by making artwork to break down cultural barriers and ultimately excavate the social wealth of Dharavi. Videographer Casey Nolan will record the immersion via film and photography.
